I have been watching the not very new Pak drama Dastaan, Fawad Khan and Sanam Baloch, its a fantastic drama so far I am on ep 10 and the last 2 episodes I have cried my eyes out, the story is so touching and really well acted and really shows how the partition happened.

Yes i know but i only came to know of it now by my sil and started watching past week and enjoyed it.

Although it's an older drama, I only watched it a few months back and I have to say it's one the best Pakistani drama's I have seen!
I had heard loads of praise about it but I never expected it to be so good...I loved all the hassan-bano interaction scenes, they were so adorable.
But once the all the sad parts kicked in, I remember being so shocked and depressed.
I watched the whole drama in 4-5 days because I was so curious to know what would happened next..
I literally cried buckets whilst watching this drama though...A must watch for anyone who hasn't seen it yet!

Its an old drama (from 2010,I think)...but I watched it a few months ago,the entire thing in 3-4 nights.
I loved it esp the initial episodes but once the partition happened,and the events following it,I cried a lot while watching it.It was really hard to watch.I absolutely loved everything about it and the acting was superb.It did leave me longing for a different ending though (wont say it as I know the OP hasn't seen the whole thing yet...:D).
One of the best and memorable dramas...!

Ooooo thanks for keeping it a surprise for me, i am on ep 18 so nearly there but gosh you are right about the tears. I watched 12-17 last bight and cried cried cried so much even after retiring to bed i couldn't sleep i was just so disturbed by all the sequence of events that occured with poor Bano. Now this Rabia girl is in the picture and I am calling out nooo noooo nooo leave Hasaan alone he belongs to Bano its just heart breaking to watch but i gotta see them to the end.

^ Agree. I did notice it when it was on air laikin as my wife says ... "chaltay phirtay dekha tha" . Now I just watched the first 4 episode in a row and like it. The cinematic techniques used are quite applaudable.
