Dastaan is an All Time Classic. One of the best dramas ever produced it’s right at top with Waris and Khuda Ki Basti. But I wonder why it did not receive the appreciation that it deserved. All the actors Fawad, Sanam, Samina, Qavi, Saba, Ahsan were brilliant even the supporting ones Anita Camfer and Khayyam Sarhadi did a great job. Direction and writing were spellbinding.
I personally loved the performances of Fawad , Saba and Sanam Baloch. All three compliment each other. Fawad and Sanam’s scenes were so poetically beautiful!!! Fawad reminds me bit of of Waheeda Murad. May be he’s inspired by him which is great. What can one say about Sanam she was just outstanding. The best actress we’ve seen since the inimitable Roohi Bano.
