i found the whole hasan/rabia thing annoying too, since he has used more or less the same lines on bano, this is hardly romantic! but sadly that is part of the novel not a new twist added by the director.

Oh I did not know that he fell for Rabia in the novel too! I thought maybe they added that just to give some “masala” to the story.
Haissam did say that they have changed the ending a bit since the whole team thought that the ending of the novel was quite depressing and they wanted to give out a positive message. Let’s see what happens next.
