yeah i think so, he was depressed when nadeem took over the industry by storm. once nadeem and waheed murad were on location for shooting that the bunch of girls came and surrounded nnadeem, he was so upset on this. after this he started realizing that he is loosing everything. he was sad and ultimately started drinking.

No, it wasnt because of nadeem. Either it was his wife or his girlfriend - he had some issues because of that. He was into drinking and depression for a long time.
