Just check out the picture. The dudes on his knees…and by the likes of what the pictures showing its seems he has timed the ball pretty well.
Amazing … never seen some one hit a shot going so far down the crease, as ot be on his knees.

he surely was the most dashing player from the 90's i remember....i just cant forget the way he used to cut the bll, the authority, the confidence and execution was just un compareable.
this is slates' in his full follow through, he wasn't on both knees at the time of timing the ball.
He was a treat to watch. One of the very few batsmen who wouldn't hesitate hooking/pulling the first ball of a TEST match for a SIX. It was hard to play with the remote control while he was at the crease.
Others (current) that fall into his category would be Gilchrist, Sehwag (to some extent), and Flintoff.
