hey guys, anyone know any really really good darzi/kaam-wallas in lahore? the one’s who can understand modern cuts, who listen and don’t make mistakes! and who can also use their own initiative (in a good way) when you show them a design?
My sis has tried a few and none have really been that good.
the other cities had a thread like this so i thought lahore deserved it too!
And any good men’s suit tailors?
I think the best place to go is Liberty market! They have a lot of people there and soooo many varieties to choose from! they would totally understand what you want!

I was just about to open a thread about this as well.
Anyone know specific places in Liberty( or anywhere else in Lahore )where they can make good replications of some designer wear? I know most darzis will say they can make anything you give them, but they don't always get it right. I just don't want to take the risk with some nice fabric I give them!

Liberty is expensive. i saw this one outfit and when i asked how much they would charge for JUST the kaam..they quoted me 25,000 RS
so with the fabric, stitching it would've costed me like 30,000 ish..which is a lot for just one shalwar kamiz!

oh i have been tempted few times 2 actually get the stuff made from these kaam walays but i have always lost my patience n prefered 2 go 2 designer instead!!! although i do believe if i want i can get better stuff made from the darzi givin my own designs but its alot of headache and i prefer mental peace over money :D lol

I think recently Pinklove had a really nice outfit made in Lahore.. maybe she can give you some info about who to go to?
If you think liberty is expensive and want to go to a reasonable place who do good work then id suggest...... anarkali or ichraa........ they make the exact same thing to what you want and its really reasonable..... my sister's friend actually got some things done from ichraa and was really nice! so it really doesn't depend where you go as long as you know what you want!
