I’ve actually read some of Darwins works and also studied from Quranic perspective and also done some research and dicussion from DNA perspective.
Darwins theory was simply based on keen observation and some facts of life related inheritance and cross breeding. There is no real scinetific basis to his theories though it opened the door for a lot scientific work regarding genetics and natural biologists.
I agree that the basic recipe for creating living things by Allah SWT is the same. The differences account for small changes in that recipe. This theory of mine lends to the fact that 95% of the DNA structure in all living beings is the same. Its the variations in the remaining 5% that make the difference. Its those variations that are misinterpreted as evolution i.e. Ape to Man. Its the dis-simialairty in the DNA of apes and men that distinguish them not the similarity that suggests men evolved from apes. For all we know is how Allah SWT created men but we do not know how he created other living beings. For all we can say they could have been created the same way as we were created and placed on earth before us. Then Allah SWT using the same created men with slightly changed recipe which is present in the form of our DNA.
I absolutely agree when you say Darwin tried to postulate a theory by connecting the dots.
