I have a question, I was wondering that In Darood Shareef We reciet, “kama saleta Ala ibrahami wa ala alay ibrahima” whats that abt Ibrahim a.s that we recall him and his aal in Darood. I mean is there a specific reasoning behind that, we could reciet … "“kama saleta Ala Musa wa ala alay Musa” or “kama saleta Ala Eisa wa ala alay Eisa” Hazrat Eisa a.s and Hazrat Musa a.s are Prophets and Rasools too.
So i think there is something Special about Ibrahim a.s can someone plz explain ?
Sometimes I wonder about that too ? Why not all the prophets ? What is so special about darood a ibraheeme.
What about Hajj. It is in the memory of things Hazrat Ibraheem and Hazrat Sarah did. Were there not other activities ,which other prophets did ,worth remembering ?
Disclaimer: If I do not get answers to these questions it is not going to weaken my eman . I also believe that faith is a lifetime commitment so I have made that commitment to Allah. I am not going to abandon my faith just because of some un answered questions.
Off course not ... How can things like that weaken my emaan, But it does become stronger when i get answer to certian questions ... Which means am the level my imaan still can increase !

these family's Mohammed (s.a.w) and Ibrahim (a.s) gave sacrfies in way of Allah.
A Sacrifie from his family of Hazart ibrahim (a.s) thats eid-ul Azha. That we still celebrate, and the other sacrifie came from Prophet s.a.w Family .... karbala. So these are two familys who have this unique sacrifies they did in way of ALLAH.
I beleive thats Y we reciet Darood on Prophet Mohammed s.a.w and his family and Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) and his family !

Because Ibrahim :as: is the father of the Prophets…Meaning, every Prophet that ever came was from the progeny of Ibrahim :as:…So, it automatically sends salawat on all the Prophets as Ibrahim :as: is the father of all Prophets of Allah :swt: excluding those that came before him such Nuh :as:, Adam :as: e.t.c…
Oh that. Did I not mention that he was ready to be put on the cross. I know he was raised to heaven by Allah ?

Okay there is difference between, Sacrifying ur life... how many shabas do u wana count who sacrifie there life in way of ALLAH, but i dunt see another example where a father takes his son out to sacrifie him with his on hands, same goes to karbala .....

Dont you guys see that When a sheep was sacrified beside harzat Ismail a.s … Allah said that i have turned this zibah to zibah-e-azim ? Where is that zibah-e-azim ? And Hazrat Ibrahim a.s Praying chooose the great sacrifie from his decendents ! …

How do u define Rasool … when u do i think just check if Hazraat Daood a.s is Rasool … I might be wrong I think u and me we r confusing Rasool with Ulil Azam Nabi … I think there are Four Ulil Azam Nabi … Mohammed s.a.w Musa a.s Eisa a.s and Ibrahim a.s… Again correct me if am wrong !
And yea i agree with the part where u said A rasool is nabi and nabi doesnt have to be rasool …
I am kinda lost now but i think there are 124000 peghambars … 313 Rasool or Nabi and 4 ulil Azam nabi … and yea i might be wrong here plz correct me if i am

1 more thing i wud like to add, that if i do think ur way … Then we dont even need to send Darood to Mohammed s.a.w coz he is included when we send darood to Ibrahim a.s and his aal !

abt believing i think all three beleive is Hazrat Musa a.s as well and about being father it goes back to what i said earlier if it was just about being father then every one cosiders jinab-e-Adam a.s and Jinab-e- Noah a.s father as well ... but u got good reasoing too !
