Salam friends,

Someone recently mentioned that the darood shouldnt be recited without wadooo ( ablution ) … how true is that?
Also women when on their special days, should they refrain from reciting durood?

I was told that the reason is that Muhammed SAW hears the durood himself when we recite it, hence its important that we are paak saaf before we start doing the recitation.

From all that i have read, it’s not true that durood should be read with wudhoo. It is something that can be said at any time of the day wudoo or not. It is recommended to say it in a state of wudoo but not an obligation. Infact the durood is one the things that a women should be praying in her special days alongside with lots of dhikr.

yeh sab BareliviyoN kii gumraah-kun baateN haiN k darood shareef ko vuduu ke saath paRhnaa chaahiye taa k vo darood ko namaaz ke baraabar laa sakeN...yeh sab fitnaa hai. hoshiyaar rahiye.

chicken biryani we can recite dorood with out wazhoo ........:) between fakhta bhai ap say kis nay kehdia k barelvi logoon ki statement ye hai
kuch baatien soch samjh kar bola karain ......lolz

doosaray chicken biryani agar wazhoo kar k parhliya tu aur bhi achi baat hai magar iski zaroorat nahin :)
