While looking for ‘The Grudge’, I found this movie on YouTube and it was funny! I first thought it wouldn’t be scary, just funny, but there are a few creepy scenes in it. It might be a little too scary for children. I showed it to mine and they enjoyed it, though my son (9) didn’t watch everything. I think it depends on what your children are used to watching and how their own characters are.
There were clichés in it, and of course the scénes where you know something will happen, but not when exactly, so that’s the scary part, waiting for something creepy to happen. This movie did have a few interesting story parts too though, which was surprising for me.
The main story line is, that a few children hear scary stories from an old lady, while they themselves are in a scary story too. Her stories are interesting, only one a little less, the one about the insurance guy. The other stories of the old lady are better and more creepy. If you like creepy stories, or just a mysterious movie, it’s worth watching. Here is the YouTube link:
