i’m new to gupshup and i think you are all doing a fantastic job, therefore i thought i would join in 
so anyway, heres my query: i have dark brown/ black hair but i would like to know whether there is any way of darkening the hair naturally so that it looks really black. i don’t want to dye my hair because of the harsh chemicals, so if you could suggest any natural products/ homemade recipes, it would be very much appreciated.

i am not sure if you can darken your hair without actually dying it..but conditioners and glossing products make your hair a shade or two darker.

Hmmm thanks...I've read somewhere that henna is a natural colorant for hair but I'm a lil worried about trying that out without knowing what to expect?
Maybe I should just continue with applying oil regularly!

i doubt you can darken hair why dont you use a natural herbal dye with no ammonia or other peroxides they work very well

wat abut black heena…i nevr sugest heena to my coutmers bt u wrote dat u dnt wan hair colour so try mehndi…but if u wan temporay black so eye maskara will help u to cover it!!!

^ Lol no dear I'm not going grey just yet (I'm only in my early twenties :p)...I just love the really dark haired look...
But I might just give the mehndi a try. Thanks!
