What to do with post delivery dark/black stomach and dark line that goes down to the bikini area? I cant even believe its MY own stomach… :frowning: Any tips?

how long before was your delivery? I had this issue but it started going away on its own around 3 months after delivery .. during bath time, I used to massage it with some besan ..

The dark line will fade. Don’t worry about it

mine took a long time to fade, and more than 2 years later its still visible
and stretch marks too

I gave birth 6 months ago and my stretch marks are barely visible

My son is almost 9 months old. Alhamdullah no stretch marks but the dark line is still there:( it’s fading but very slowly.

I heard the fading of the line is directly linked to how long you breast feed. Not sure how much is true.

Same here… No stretch marks but the dark line and stomach.

Me also hvnt dark stomach nw, fades away wid time. But hv stretch mark , no visible

I never had any darkening of my stomach nor that dark line running down at all. I breast fed my eldest son 14 months exclusively and my twins 6 months…never had any darkening at all with be their pregnancy either.

My stretch marks have faded and are not that noticeable… They sit bother me at all :blush:

My OB/GYN source tells me that this line is called the Linea Negra or Fundal Line. It goes away in about 12 months but can stay forever.
