try a bright red lipgloss instead - that’s what I use since I can’t wear red either.

Oh god it looks awful in the first pic. I think I should maybe just stick to brighter reds then (not scarlet but like, blood red) rather than anything too dark. It DOES remind me of the 90s too (esp cos my older sister used to wear it a lot in the 80s and 90s )
