Dark Black lines under eyes

How to get rid of them?

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

Do you mean dark circles? I've heard putting slices of cucumbers or slices of potatoes over your eyes for 5-10 minutes can diminish the appearance of dark circles. Also, you can try the same thing with cool teabags (that have been used and then squeezed out).

Excessive salt intake, dehydration, iron deficiency, and lack of sleep can also cause the skin under your eyes to become dark. So make sure you're getting enough water and sleep. Also, make sure you have enough iron in your diet and lessen your salt intake.

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

I have heard that almond oil helps.

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

cucumbers

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

get plenty of sleep.

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

I tried Cucumbers - didn't work (I tried for 10 mins each time).
I have 7-8hrs of sleep.
I heard of teabags. But I don't even drink tea from teabags.
I recently tried Almond oil. Only made my skin soft but nothing else change.
I believe I have enough intake of Iron. Salt? How to tell if I'm taking excessive? How to tell if you dehydrated?

Thanks for all your reply.

Re: Dark Black lines under eyes

Try the cucumber thing regularly-every day.
Also, try the tea-bag thing. Just buy a pack of tea-bags and make some tea with them :p
Good that you seem to be getting enough sleep.
Make sure you eat food rich in iron. Food like enriched breakfast cereals, cooked beans and lentils, beef, shrimp, sardines, turkey, poultry, lentils, beans, leafy vegetables (e.g. brocolli), pistachios, tofu etc
Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water a day. Your urine should be dilute and light in colour.

Also, make sure you wear sunscreen with atleast SPF 30 when you go out as sun damage can also cause certain areas of the face to grow darker.

I think you could try one of those eye creams. I'm not sure how well they work though.
