THere shouldn't be any problem in it because if you are going right way like if you saw the girl,talked to her and then ask her brother or parents for marriage I don't see any problem in it.

I don't see any problem in it as long as the guy and girl like each other. I married one of my best friends brother... :) and everyone is very happy including my friend!

Asking "Hey dude, you're sister is so frickin hot, man. You mind if I date her? You think you can help hook me up with her, bro? How about her email? C'mon huh, huh, pleeeeez?" is not going to sit well with most conservative desi guys, LOOOL!
And I think most guys, in general, would feel a bit awkward about approaching such a topic with their close friends in the first place.
But I have I've seen brothers who are totally fine with the scenario if one of their friends is a really good person and expresses interest in a shareef and **respectable **manner. It can be done. And has been done. It's a matter of personal preference.

No way dude, the unwritten rule applies fully in my case at least. A mate's sister is your own sister, dating is totally TOTALLY out of question. My belief.

no no dating is a bad bad and a big no no coming frm a friend. i would never think of dating any of my brothers friend or if his friend asks me out then i'd think he's the worst scum of this earth. but official marriage proposal is something else and that too presented by his family to mine.

Muslim should not date. If its a friends sister then it makes things worse in case it does not work out. I have known my best friend's sister since she was a teenybopper 6 grader, even though we are all "post college adults" now, I could never think of her that way, even if I was the dating type.
Besides picking her up from a club once and planning a surprise party for my buddy, we don't even roll together.

Laikin ghatia harkatain karna bohat hi ghalat hai kay is tarha friend kay aitamad ko thais ponhchana hai. Phir aap friend kaisay huway jub aaap uskay aitamaad ko dhoka day kar us kay ghar main hi munh maari karain.
Frieze aap bhi to apnay dost kay saath loyal naheen thay kay us kay ghar main hi ankh macholiaan khail rahay thay. Mujhay is say koi aitaraz naheen hai kay agar pasand aap ko hai dost ki bahan/bhai to zaroor bata dain dost ko ya apnay parents kay zariaay aur agar shadi pay razamand hon to zaroor kar lain.
But some ppl don't understand the meaning of Friendships and respect and being loyal to friends.
Frienze you didn't tell me that you married to that person or not. If yeas why her brother is not your friend any more. It wouldn't be that good for your wife if you married her. Just my thinking don't want to degrade you.

Hmmm that was n’t good according to me. No matter he was your good nor realy good friend. The word FRIEND has lots of meaning and rules. We always have to follow no matter our shaitani eyes or ****an inside our heart ask us to do. Again that is my way of thinking can’t impliment on every person.
