What du you think.Who is the best Bowler of the new Team
They are all good but Sami is the best out of this lot followed by Umar Gul.
I am not impressed with Gul, there was a big hypre around him. He is an OK bowler, sticks to the basics and gets a wicket every now and then but not the kind of bowler who can takeout top batsman consistently.
M Sami is definitely the best bowler in the team, he was very unfortunate in his last 2 matches to get only 2 wickets. He has done a great job in this tourney so far.
Naved is a decent bowler, and if he can bat than that means he will be around the team for sometime.
Kaneria is a good bowler and bowled well today but not a one day material, he is the type of bowler who should only be reserved for test matches.
Muhammed Sami:jhanda:…
They're all good, but as most of you said, Sami is definitely the most mature player from these four. However I see a big future for the "young guns". All of them!
SAMI is good.....n UMAR GUL is not an ordinary bowler either...he took the wicket of players like Attapatu....not easy UMAIR
When it comes to the best from the choices given I think everyone one will agree it Sami. But then Sami has been with the team for a little time and he had the oppurtunity to play with Wasim, Waqar & Shoaib. I am sure he has taken some tips from the seniors. He is defineley ther best of the new ones.
Naveed is decent too, plus I think Shoaib Malik can prove to be very handy as well. He is an average off spinner not like Saqlain, or Murali. But he can stop the flow of runs plus he is a good batsman. All in all our future looks brighter then what it looked after the world cup.
Danish looks impressive. I like all of the spin bowlers. they're all good.

He is a good bowler and he has taken few good wickets in this tourney but the particular wicket you mentioned of Attapattu was a clear inside edge, it was more batsman giving away the wicket than bowler taking the wicket.

Going by your theory Glen McGrath is "only an OKAY" bowler too.
Remmeber what happened to our unorthodox-ever-attacking bowlers?
Remmember all the bashing they took with their inconsistent line and length?
Perviously all the bowlers needed was to stick to line and wait till Paki batsmen go nuts and start giving keeper and slips some practice. Guys like Gul and Taufeeq might not get you a hatrick or 3 sixes in an over, but they are the ones who seem to be making Pak a tougher team to beat than they've been
Well No doubt that Sami is a great bowler but you are forgetting one thing. HOw can you compare a Spinner with a fast bowler? Or Mid fast?
They are all superb bowlers and to be honest I haven’t seen many ppl spin like Kaneria in Cricket.
Therefore Kaneria takes the :k:
Gul isn’t that fast but has a very good line and length. Same goes for Naved.

Glenn McGrath has something called variety. Eventhough he bowls the same line and length, you can always see him bowl off cutters. He is always looking to take a wickets.
Gul is very ordinary, he needs to bowl a little faster like Sami and he will take wickets.

"The real surprise has been Umar Gul, who, at just 18 years of age, is a tremendous find for Pakistan. He does not have Sami's pace, but that should not be an issue. What matters is that he has a cool head on his shoulder, that he knows where to bowl and keeps it there which enables his captain to set a field for him. This ability to bowl to a field was something bowlers much more experienced than this 18-year-old found very difficult to do during the World Cup."
