ppl i have learned from my trusted sources that danish kaneria’s full name is = Danish Parabha Shanker Kaneria and he was born on/at = 16 December 1980, Karachi, Sind andddddddd he’s also known as = nani-danny
rite tat’s out of the way, wat i wanted to know was, is he muslim cos one his parent/s is hindu etc… so wat is the deal with this kid.

hindu based in pakistan playing for pakistan, this must be the second time a hindu has played for paki’ cricket team as i recall 1 other guy hindu played in the 1980’s for pakistan it was a brief spell though.
funny u should say that nanc’ cos i remember seeing him do sajda (prostration to allah) when he took his 1st 5 wicket haul against bangladesh in a test match in bangladesh.

So what's the problem. He is a Pakistani and has every right to play for Pakistan if he is good enough.
What is this you always going on about first that Youhanna's mother was muslim and now one of Kaneria's parents are muslim.
What has that got to do with their talents, Yoyo is a Christian and Kaneria a hindu, accept it and get on with it. The most important thing is that they are both Pakistanis.

wat are u on about ehsan? am i comitting a felony by asking a question. so wat if i raised questions about youhana and danny, i was interested to know about their backgrounds so i asked the ? and i wanted simple answers not a verbal attack. ok thats all i wanted to know personally as i have reiterated above that i don't have aproblem with anyone or their beliefs, i respect every religion just as islam teaches us muslims to.

Asif_k i get a hint of match fixing there, its' a speciality of the south asians now commonly practised by NRP's.
looking at his recent peromances in the sharjah series,he is well eqipped to become a spear-head bowler for pakistan in the coming future.in all the matches he played,nanni-dani bowled very well and conceded less runs.he was awarded the praise by all commentators and looking at his bowling one will find that he bowls in a very accurate length and width.

moreover,his perfomance in sharjah(where spin bowlers do not find much help from the pitch),reiterates the fact that he is well placed for saqlain who did not perform well in the worldcup.i think his perfomance is a great answer to those who criticized him and especially for a moderator who jumped in to delete one of my threads on danish and send me a mail.......

i wonder u have watched any match in sharjah...just tell me which spinner hasbeen able to perform well in sharjah except murali ,but he is such a bowler who can turn the ball on any surface..
part from his perfomance,sharjah has always been an hunting ground for fast bowlers .
Danish Kaneria is a hindu, the second to play for pakistan after his cousin Anil Dalpat who kept wickets for Pakistan.
