I got an email warning against lead elements found in our desi ‘surma’ and ‘kajal’ products … want to share with you guys (especially ladies who use these desi products). Please inform others too.

hashmi surma and kajal are banned in the US due to lead as one of the main ingredients.. I wonder if they will ever stop using this product in Pakistan.
oh well, first US should make strict policies to chip off the lead paints from the houses and then go for surma n kajal! For my work purposes, I have been to several houses in some neighborhoods where lead paint is still there but the landlords rent it out for lower prices to poor people. sick indeed!
