Re: Dangerous attempt to defame the judiciary
Judiciary, what judiciary?
Does Pakistan have judiciary?
Please do not Rant something that all know is nothing but useless rant.
No one can demand Respect, as respects are earned, not obtained. This is especially true for a judge. Once a judge gets appointed, he earns respect from his impartiality, honesty, truthfulness, judgements, and treating all equally (be they King or Beggar, Prime Minister or daily labourer).
Judiciary means an impartial body of intelligent and fearless people, who knows laws of the land, and give verdict on basis of laws and not on basis of bones thrown to them or on basis of nepotism. For judiciary there should be no difference between a pauper and king, between those in government and those who are citizen … for judge, a parliamentarian or government official in the eyes of law is no better than any ordinary citizen of lowest rank, and judge should treat all equally in same way.
For such judiciary, selection of judges should be on merit and not be based on nepotism and bribes. In a country where there are no Kangroo courts but judiciary really exists, then if there a judge even get perceived as bias, financially corrupt, morally corrupt, or even have attitude than such judge is made to resign.
In view of all above, I can confirm that no judiciary exists in Pakistan nor there are Judges who can commands respect. Especially, Judiciary became extremely tainted in 2007 and lost all respect, when ‘Supreme Court Judges’ stopped ‘Supreme Judicial Council’ to investigate corruption and nepotism of Choor Judge Iftikhar and forced government to lift suspension on him. After that, even P*gs and D*gs became more respectable than judges.
Today, they became so shameless that they do corruption, nepotism and show partiality openly, and feel proud of that. Leave people in opposition and ordinary Pakistanis, even government and police do not feel obliged to value their verdicts or obey their rulings. There rulings, be that on Model Town FIR or lifting containers from Red zone, all became worthless rant. Stories of their corruptions and wrong doings are words on the tong of every Pakistan, referring to Choor Chaudhary’s corruption, nepotism, misusing power … to rigging of election for the bones of Gullu Shareef and obviously about exploits of his son.
