Are these like clubs/discotheques? And are these at home / in a place?

yes they arrange many dance parties in Karachi every sunday. just go to clifton beach, and you will see different types of dance parties, all traditional, representing all areas of pakistan. they bring their dhol along with them, and nobody has to pay any thing to participate, some parties are mobile in nature, they do it on trucks. the only restriction is that, only men can join in, and women can watch from a distance
