respect isn't something that's exclusively grown in pakistani soil; believe it or not, us ABCD's aren't as 'confused' or disrespectful as the average bollywood movie makes us out to be. seriously, it doesn't seem like you get out much. that stereotype was overused and done to death about ten years ago (and this is coming from a 23 year old) Move on.
furthermore, it looks like you've gotten some great advice-which you want to ignore because it was too long to read.
I think you've just proven that ignorance can also be a voluntary state of mind.
^ That's a good point, Lemocker. As i said earlier, a porn magazine can be viewed by people other than an ABCD. The ABCD in this scenario, in the effort to protect himself, has deprived his father the joy of seeing his grandchildren. We don't know the details about the relationship between this particular father and his son. At the same time, dysfunctional families are not only confined to ABCD's. They are prevalent in all cultures and countries. I wanted to clarify that the poster of this thread did read longer posts containing advice. He's beginning to think about doing something about it.
PM....I'm sure that the father was able to figure out that the dirty magazine belonged to his son, since he was the only other male in the house at the time. And the son's lying could be causing the current problems between them. Also, if the father didn't tell everyone that the magazine actually belonged to his son......then that was very** BIG** of the father to protect/not expose his son. If only the son has a sense responsibility!
I'm with Red Velvet here!! Grampa doesn't deserve to have his DIL think such things of him, and MOST importantly to have his grand kids kept from him because of it.

Father has no idea about the magazines.
ABCD boys dont respect their fathers(mostly)
Family is not dysfunctional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dysfunctional means abnormal, not healthy, not working. A family in which there is no respect as well as lying and deception from a grown 30-year-old man IS to an extent dysfunctional.
Maybe Allah made you a witness to this ABCD's story so you could do something about it. Who know? Maybe you're being tested by Him.
^Yaar.....get some sawab from Allah and GO do a good deed.
Go save the old man. You don't want him to leave this world with a bad rep and without the love of grandchildren. What if the mother of the children tells them that their grandpa is a pervert when they grow older? Not fair. Go tell her.
And don't give me all the credit. Everyone else is telling u the same thing.
According to Google official statistics, Pakistan ranks as the top nation in searches for the word SEX and some other explicit terms which are just too horrific to mention.
yaar what shocking nonsence
now i understand why these nasty pervs stare at girls in pakistan.

I cant give you my word but I promise I will try to find a way to tell DIL.
I am good at sying things with out being direct, (its true even hard to believe)
I need to stop reading your posts!!!
you can make ppl do things , I mean good things off course.
But some time postinion is not good to do the right :(
I criticized you for your stereotypical comments about women.....and I did it without resorting to name-calling. You responded to that post of mine. But then you couldn't let it go. From then onwards, you have INSTIGATED by criticizing my posts for their length in the most juvenile of ways on threads in which I haven't initiated any comments regarding you. You can't seem to give it up. It's your khush fahmi to think I'd ever apologize to you. Since you have a problem with khush fahmi, then it is no wonder that you know there is no elaaj for it.
As for the mods...that's what they are there for. To curb such unnecessary juvenile behavior.
I will plan some thing,
I am going to kick perv A$$ and make him tell this.
Hmmm. PM, how are you going to get this guy to tell the truth by himself? Are you going to threaten him in some way? Will you say...."If you don't tell the truth to your bhabi.....then I'm going to tell everyone that one day you did this other thing." What if it backfires in some way? And he tries to make up something to get you into trouble? I dunno. Think everything through carefully before taking action. But I'm glad you've finally decided to take some action. Good for you, PM!
