I was watching the parade all morning, they were all still so drunk! My man Flintoff could hardly get on the bus as he couldn’t walk properly. They got quite a reception at Trafalgar Square too, bless em.
I watched the match with my daddi and grandad, they were proper cheering the lads on after the lunch break. Pietersen and Giles I think made a good partnership, especially Pietersen, he took quite a few bruisings from the nasty Aussies too and yet he still carried on.

initially gutted that england won, i must say i am now happy and optimistic that Pakistan can bring to an end this “hooray for england” atmosphere we are currently enduring!
i was in considering going to London for the parade. but after Liverpools post Champions League parade, this ashes one woulda just been a disappointment!
meagre 25k turned out in the end! club over (this) country anyday!

It was great watching the match yesterday. Same about the anticlimax with bad light and all but the Aussies knew they couldn’t win. Watching the news today the parade looked amazing. I wish I’d been there but stupid school and everything.
