That is exactly the attitude that makes it painful…I’m not saying its a fun thing , I’m only advising you to relax and not let your fears get the better of you …
I’ve performed a cervical smear for loads of patients and I’ve seen both types of patients , those that Listen and try to implement what the doctor is telling them during the procedure and have minimal discomfort and those who are not willing to listen at all and have already decided they WILL have pain before even getting on the examination coach .
