I have dry, frizzy, damaged hair and lots of split ends, and I am losing lots of hair and plenty of dandruff. I got the split ends cut. But I wanted to use some protein treatment but not sure which one. Which is the best? Sunsilk conditioner or chi or any other? Does Keratin treatment improve hair or damage ?

Some one mentioned their experience on this forum and I think that's the best way to start off. Which is start eating healthy. Skip oily stuff and include a lot of fruits in your diet.

But I already do that. I eat plenty of fruits everyday and try my best to take in proteins as well. But still I dont see any change. In the past I have used a vegetable protein conditioner which gave some life to my hair.
Re: damaged hair
get a protein treatment done , that really makes hair healthy & shining
Re: damaged hair
1.) Don't shampoo your hair everyday and use a 'creamy' shampoo instead if a clear one.
2.) Dandruff does cause hair-loss so have it treated. Nizorol is a great shampoo and so is Clear with Coal Tar is another great shampoo. You could add lemon juice to your oil and that will help as well.
3.) Use a deep conditioning mask once a week and 'steam' your hair. 'Hot oil' treatments and protein treatments once a week are good too.
4.) Stop using any heated hair-styling tools.

I use head n shoulders, and I oil my hair before washing them. Can you recommend a deep conditioning mask and hot oil and protein treatments.
Re: damaged hair
There are treatments the salon does like supercuts even has a treatment.
I did it like 2 weeks ago and I've noticed some difference. But eating healthy, hydration, and if despite that there are problems, see your doctor. Some endocrine disorders will mess up your hair and you can try all kinda of shampoo, you just need to get the right medicine.
Re: damaged hair
Avon makes an amazing olive oil hair mask, mythic oil is excellent as well!
Re: damaged hair
firstly you should select the shampoo that really suits your hair texture ,
and then a conditioner accordingly ,
L’Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss very dry/damaged hair reviews - Makeupalley
this conditioner is good , i have tried it ,
regular oiling is helpful , if that is easy for you , but if you use conditioners then that will do
evertime you get a hair cut do not let the hairdresser use razor for lazer cuts or layers , razor really makes hair weak and damages them
if you have too much volume then step cutting or layers would be the best choice for hairstyling,
protein treatment is done in the parlours , however there are other methods as well , and i don’t know any of those :hehe:
yes healthy diet also helps.
