why we all love to eat…those dal chawal having less purity level …with more love rather than at home…
its the marvellous atmosphere of canal…Punjab University…etc etc…or the atmosphere of Anarkali Bazar…students ..of PU…GC…KE…Vetneray University…Civil Lines College…etc etc…
heard a lot about those famous daal chawal. When I went to lahore once, I almost came that close to eacting them … some where close to Railway Station …
But I guess some idiot friends of mine wanted to eat Burger or something ..
Food street did not exist then , so I think we went to restaurant on Mall road or was it Liberty
Railwat Station area...is not so good for food...less pure food....but as you go across Macleod Road ..near Laxhmi Chowk...Nisbat Road..and Food street a lot of such things....
After watching the 1990 world cup semi final between Australia and Pakistan, I ate those daal chawal at Anar Kali. Yes indeed they were really very delicious.
^ 1987 world cup semi final ? Cricket match between Australia , Pakistan.

Amritsari hareesa , nisbat road .
My favorit Dal chawal are those made at home apart from that
some 10 years ago , at mehndi funtions of wedding they used to serve Bhandara + plus boiled rice and Zarda as dessert. That used to be my favorite food at weddings. Now adays weddings have become too lavish , they dont serve that dish any more . or atleast in/around my circle
