Daku Rani directed by Syed Noor, starring Shan and Saima.
Saw this movie last night. Although it sounds like a typical Pakistani film but it’s NOT. I realy liked it. Performence wise Shan was awesome. Saima, I dont know what’s noor’s obsession with this old woman that he throws her in his every film. But actully she gave some good performence.
Chalo Ishq Ledien- Saw this movie today and it wasn’t good but it was bad either. Found it ok only. Aside from Zara Sheikh there is nothing good about this film. She acted fine but the story was lame. I dunno why an actress like Zara would sign a film like this. Lower budget, Daku Rani was much better film but still a few songs of CIL are good.
Saw Yeh Dil Aap... last summers. Though the film is great technically, boasts of excellent music and foreign locales, it lacks one basic thing - a good, interesting story line. If you like intelligent cinema you'd be a bit bored watching Yeh Dil... . But nevertheless keeping the current standards of Pakistani cinema in mind, the film deserves a peek as its an achievement in itself to make a clean, decent movie sans any sort of vulgarity in Pakistan. All u people in the US, make sure u turn up at the first screening!
