We all have read and heard about this human-like beast. Who wil supposedly appear one day and make everyone’s lives miserable. Who will have the power to make fire look like water and to make water look like fire, etc etc. All in All he will claim to be a God or prophet but he will have letters K F R written on his forehead and only momin/pious ppl will be able to differentiate between thee good and the bad ones.

It is said that if you read/listen to Surah Kahf’s first 10 ayats and last 10 ayats, it will protect you from dajjal. I was readin online and came with many interpretations as in what is dajjal, some said its the system n things going around in the world and some said its the actual person. Whatever it is, just by reading what chaos he/it will cause in the world - gave me the chills. I don’t think i get afraid much when I think about end of time but reading about dajjal made me think that this is something if im alive that time, would love to avoid.

what are your thoughts? what concept do you have about dajjal? and as a person what feelings do you go thru just by reading or listening about the end of time compare to dajjal alone?

well even just hearing about him, petrifies me. so yes i believe that that dajjal is not a system. in fact he will create a system.

the things i heard about him is...he will be given power of making dead people alive, but the trick is he can only do this once...and that is where momin's iman will be put for a test.

women are asked to keep themselves away from him and his fitna/sher.

I also read he will come for exact 40 days and his first day will be like a yr n second day will be like a month n third day like a week and then the intensity will decrease as days goes on. Women will be attracted to him, i don’t know why as I read he will be one eyed monster with hairy body :smiley: who would wana get attracted to him :cb:

I watched Dr. Shahid masood's program called The End of time and in surah Kahf there is a mention of Dajjal - plus u can always google. But googling gives you many different interpretations :S

Few years back when i was in Pakistan I & friends did a research on it we meet couple of scholars too, Shia's Hazraat totally denied of it existence and any kind a proof's in Haadith, they label those Haadith as vague which has no authencity , let me see if i can found the old documents on my xdrive....

But we had consensus, It will emerge as a Fitnaah not for Muslims but rest of the religions too. The proof of coming of Dajjal or Messiah or Anti-Christ can be found in three of the main religions.

i also heard the same timeline about his “zahoor” interval.

and i think we can take the current analog of how human nature gets really attracted to all those things that ALLAH SWT asked us not to do, then it is quite possible to be attracted to the Powerful fitna like him.

hm...well then for this i have to check Surah Qaf, cuz all i know that only Hadith-e-Mubarik talks about Zahoor-e-Dajjal.

cuz if Quran talks about him then there wont any discrepancies of him coming and spreading his fitna.

I have the the book End of Time by Dr. Shahid Masood, and also many interpretations about what/who is dajjal…(and some crazy and outrageous stuff like obama is dajjal :halo: )..everything mentioned above is pretty accurate as to what I have read as well. Scary stuff!

It is a very scary thought to face the times of Dajjal. But I also know one thing in my heart, muslim with true imaan will be put to sheer test and inshallah if we maintain our religious values , faith in Allah , faith in justice, faith in life the hereafter ..... then we will be able to bear the hardship for Allah's sake ... and even if we die in that hardship , we died for Allah and will gain the shahadah...

So dont be scared , just try to work on understanding Islam and its principles as best as you can and try to incorporate them in your lives and pass it on to your next generations so we can fight dajjal with our character, mind and faith.

May Allah protect us all from hardship.

I have been hooked to the documentary "The arrivals" I would definitely recommend people watch it if they where interested in knowing about the Dajjal.....

Dajjal’s parents
His father will be tall and thin and his nose will be pointed like a beak while his mother will be fat with two long hands. They will both remain thirty years without a child. After thirty years a one eyed son with biting teeth and of little benefit will be born to them whose heart will remain awake while his eyes will sleep. (Abu-Bakara-Tirmidhi)

Dajjal’s Physical description
The Dajjal is a young, fat, man, wheatish, in complexion with a broad chest, and biting teeth. Resembling Abdul Uzzah bin Qatad from the tribe of Khuza’a his head is covered, with curly hair, with the letters "Ka’ “Fa” "Ra,‘’ written between his eyes which every believer will be able to clearly see and read literate or illiterate, he has a shining forehead, and defect in both eyes. His left eye has a swelling pupil11 while he is blind, from the right. He has a brisk walk, and no children.

Dajjal’s Deception
Two angels resembling two Prophets, one on either side will accompany him. This will be to test mankind. Hence Dajjal will ask, “Am I not your lord? Do I not give life and death?” One of the angels will reply, “You are a liar.” However nobody will be able to hear this reply besides the other angel. The second angel addressing the first angel will say, “You are speaking the truth.” Every body will hear what this second angel said and will think that an angel is testifying that the Dajjal is Allah though in reality this second angel was addressing the first and agreeing with his reply that you are speaking the truth that the Dajjal is certainly a liar. (Narrated by Safeena-Musnad Ahrnad)
He will come to a Bedouin whose parents have passed away and will say to him, “Will you believe that I am your Lord if I bring your parents back to life.” He will reply, “Yes.” The devils that are accompanying him will take the form of his parents and after resembling his parents will say to him, "Oh child believe in him and follow him, he is your Lord.’ The Bedouin will be deceived and forced into believing him. (Abu Umamah/Ibne Majah)
He will come to another Bedouin and say, “Will you believe in me as your Lord if I bring your camel back to life?” “Yes”, he will reply. He will make a figure for him like his camel, which will have a beautiful odour and a big hump. (Asma-b-Yazeed /Mishkat)He will have water and fire with him. As for that which the people will see as water, in reality will be fire, which will burn and as for that which people will see as fire, in reality will be cold, sweet water. The Prophet’s

advice is: "Whoever meets the Dajjal and sees the water and the fire, he should fall in the fire and not the water, as the fire in reality is water and the water in reality is fire.‘’ (Hudaifah/Mishkat)

I think ive said on here before but a really interesting documentary was made on dajaal and how preparations of his arrival are being made, and signs of thie coming of the dajjal.

Its called the arrivals, theres about 40 episodes i think of it each is 10 minutes long, its posted ny a person called norreaga

my bad, I doubled checked and my mistake for saying that there is a mention about dajjal in Surah Kahf - infact it says by reading first 10 ayats n last 10 ayats of this particular surah will help you avoid Dajjal when he/i arrives.
