The recommended fiber intake is 25g for women and 38g for men.
Given our daily intake it gets a bit hard to get all this in. I have taken to having ispaghol husk daily and the effect on my digestion is immense.
i have also changed my cereal to whole grains. What foods that desist consume have high fiber content?

Carrots, turnips, greens...asparagus, broccoli, spinach, bell pepper, etc; apples, pears, etc are all very high in fiber. Chickpeas, beans, oat meal, barley and other whole grains.

Raspberries(8 g per cup),prunes(7.7 g per cup) and raisins(5.4 g per cup)
Nuts and seeds :especially pecans, walnuts and almonds are very rich in fiber

Vegetables , all kind of whole grains , dalain, have lots of fibers in them.
I drink a glass of fat free milk in the morning and mix two tablespoons of cold milled flaxseed in it.
