Re: Daily Columns.....PTI losing the moral and constitutional ground
I Wonder that there are hardly any column about NS/SS wrong doings while in power??? Are they really that innocent???
For all those who say hold the constitution high i ask does this only apply to opposition but not to any government ???
I for one would like to see the constitution upheld in any case if all parties abide by it
When writers suggest that PTI/PAT are holding the country hostage one wonders what to think of past PPP rule and the current PMLN Rule ???
When the higher ups of both parties get richer as days go but the poor folk hardly able to put a meal on the table where is are the writers and there columns then ???
When simply the law and order situation is out of hand and the police as well as part of the judiciary are just stooges of the ruling elite where the heck is the outcry about holding up the constitution then ???
When the ruling elite blatantly, repeatedly lie and claim on TV that corruption is there is RIGHT where the heck is the editorial clampdown on all this ???
U know when a doctor/surgeon steps ahead to anaesthetise a patient then there are two reason why he does that:
1. He knows that the sheer pain caused by the cut to start his work (e. g. Surgery) will cause the patient to resist the operation. Avoid short term pain but fail to achieve long term cure
2. He knows only this way he can perform his duty to the fullest of his capabilities. Inflict short term pain but cure in the long run
I'm not going to praise IK (let alone TuQ) and going by what i've witnessed the last 18 years (ever since i started to travel regularly to Pakistan) things will only get worse with the current system regardless of whether u call democracy or not ...... The bitter truth is that there is something terribly wrong in this country ..... Democracy is going to be the cure in the long run but the patient need to get rid of the parasite that always jumps on once the path of democracy is given a chance

Plenty has been written about Sharif,Zardari, etc
Now when Imran Qadri is showing his greed for the Kursi, attacking democracy, damaging the economy- people will naturally talk about this.
