Dahn Yoga

Anyone tried it? I’ve gone to two classes and enjoying it so far. It’s a Korean-based mind and body plan. Dahn means “energy.”

Sahar, what is this class like? Is it similar to normal Yoga classes or something different is done? Share the details of the class if you will.

Re: Dahn Yoga

It's similar to regular yoga, but there's more attention paid to invigorating the internal organs and transferring energy through the three "chakras" (one at your head, one around your chest, and one -- the main one -- in the abdomen).

The class is 6 times a week, though you don't have to go each time.

Mondays: Internal organs
Tuesdays: Stretching and fitness (more like typical yoga)
Wednesdays: a slow form of martial arts that sounds like Tai Chi
Thursdays: Stretching and fitness
Fridays: Vibration
Saturdays: Stretching and fitness
