Re: Daddy I miss you…
I dont talk about this often, certainly not with my family and hesitate discussing it with my friends too, probabaly because they all are still blessed to have their fathers still with them…So I am hoping talking about it here might help me. It will be 7 years in December since I lost my daddy…I miss him so much and often cry at nights when thinking about him… Life feels so strange and hollow without him in it, its as if some one has snatched the roof off our heads. I miss the warmth, love, security and protection that my daddy gave me. I am so confused without him, life seems incomplete without him. he was only 45 years old when he passed away, and he went in the most tragic and tormenting way one could imagine. It pains me so much everytime I remember those moments. RIP daddy. I love you and I miss you so much. I love the way you used to hug me and kiss me on my forhead every morning.
Do you have any sweet memories with your fathers? Share them with me…
We little knew that morning
That God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Aww Baby I know no words can console you so i wont even try. But know that your dad above wont like if his dear daughter is sad, so be happy for his sake. Live for his happiness and make your life a mission to fulfil your dad’s dreams, to do something for your dad; anything that would make him proud of you. All the best. May Allah give you more strength to cope with this loss and may your life be filled with so much love that you feel your dad’s love in all of it :).
