Sara - this is the first time I heard about setting the tikka with glue.. was it without the hook that can ba adjusted on your hair?
I suffered from daanay on my shoulders because I had them waxed for the first time on my shaadi.. and it was the last 
It must be some kind of allergic reaction.. you should consult a doctor.
