dramas are for entertainment purposes primarily, if directors and writers keep that in mind, it’ll be a hit no matter, sounds pretty simple but not so when u look at the melodrama overdose these days. tackle the social issues but don’t make it the main focus, that becomes a drag, has to be interwoven in the story and characters highlighted just like the 80s and 90s classics, humour was always a key element in these classics which made them all the more enjoyable. follwing the various drama threads right here on GS its pretty unanimous what audiences like or dislike, no brainer there.
and please no dramas on suicide bombers, that is just not entertaining to watch in the least, might be for the overseas audience but for people living this nightmare in Pakistan, this is not a subject of entertainment and should not be tackled as such. plenty of coverage they get on news, talk shows and documentaries which is more than enough.
