Daal-wala haleem

What in teh world is daal-wala haleem?

hubby’s fermaish..he is sick of chicken dishes (doesnt eat red meat). i threatened to make him haleem if he doesnt tell me what he wants for dinner tomorrow night (well really, i have a pack of shaan masala ready-made haleem mix). he comes up with daal-wali haleem.

Uhm…as far as I understand it…haleem is daal and meat mixed together…so daal-wali haleem is…DAAL..ISNT IT?

Is he making me ullu? :bummer:

Re: Daal-wala haleem

i think he is messing with me. :hinna:

Re: Daal-wala haleem

he is asking you for “pandaara”. now don’t ask me what that is. :stuck_out_tongue:

:rotfl:

Re: Daal-wala haleem

Tell me what is “pandara”.

and i have a feeling its “daal-WALI” not daal-wala :bummer:

Re: Daal-wala haleem

ok, it’s basically like haleem, but has only chana daal and meat. Unlike actual haleem which has wheat grain, oats and all masoor/moong/mash daals etc.

and it’s cooked and mixed so well that it looks like haleem (no alehda alehda daal daanay and meat got mashed in small pieces).

got the idea ??? :faizy:

Re: Daal-wala haleem

but i cant use meat.

Re: Daal-wala haleem

^ I have no idea then what this “haleem wali daal” is.

:smack:

May be he is asking you to make haleem without meat since he doesn't eat meat.
