Milk and cream are also used. I think handi dishes must have cream in it. May be Malai Tikka as well.

why? taste it. specially fried bhindi with fried aaloo… In some areas of India, they even make bhindi k chips :hehe:

By the way, I've never had fried egg with rice. Now that's odd to me. I've had egg fried rice but not an actual fried anda with chawal. And yes, I've seen people eating it that way. I was like hmm vat iz dis?!

My father used to put sweet dish on top of rice or eat it with roti on weddings.

Salad as used with Biryani (like kheera) is totally a new phenomenon to Sindhi people.

My Dadi told that in Hindu weddings in Sindh they used to serve meethe chawal and daal... and all people consume this strange combo.

i don't eat kaRhii...some use by itself...and some use chapaatii...i hate anything that is even closely related to kaRhii...eeeewwww...it's color and texture is enuf to turn off anyone lol.

my phuppo used to eat pulaao [minus meat] with feereenii…[NOT kheer]…:hmmm:

and she also used aam with chapati…not cut mangoes but squeeze and squirt while you eat! :slight_smile: aam choos kar khaane kaa bhii ek apnaa mazaa hai! :slight_smile:

No I havent tried aam with paratha.

I dont know if kheera is being used for long or not in Punjab, but I have seen it being used.
