anyone watch this? im watchn it and i enjoy it but cant believr dramas being made in this day n age are stilll sooo jahil. dont these ppl know the sex of the baby is determined by the father never the mother. !!!
Re: daagh
lols. People don't believe on medical science, therefore such drama happens in real world. In next episodes, you will see the second wife giving birth to baby boy (finally Murad's luck would work) and bechari Umaima getting all the credit for giving birth to girls.
Re: daagh
really?? she gives birth to a boy?
surely somewhere there is a message in this drama?
Re: daagh
The story will move in this direction as per earlier promos, but what is the message behind this script is not clear. But we can't deny that such characters do exist in our society today

i initially liked this drama and thought it had potential. Where the story is heading now, has been done before is so many other dramas. It just re-inforces the old thinking that a woman determines the sex from the fact that as soon as Murad re marries he's blessed with a boy.
By the way is the girl playing Umaima a new actress ? I haven't seen her in other plays.

Yes, she is new girl, but doing good job. I think she might be related to theatre
Re: daagh
I think she is. She is good, but at times a bit awkward.
I dont know whats the message, but I think its the old typical story. The niece will turn evil and I guess MIL will learn her mistake.
Its sad that even well educated people hold these thoughts, but I guess you cant change human nature just like that.
Re: daagh
okay i have to say this .... how is father responsible for the sex of fetus ??? Please explain. .... I am currently looking into this and i am comfused as this is a common discussion and i cant find a scientific base for it.
Re: daagh
okay leave this .... I found the answer
Re: daagh
Anyone still watch this.fahad is such a jerk in this drama
Re: daagh
That he is ..... !! you can say that twice.
But from now on i am not watching any dramas that has two wives ..... which are most of the dramas these days. Where are we going. Don't we have enough tension these days that the only entertainment for the housewives is also stimulating the brains -vely. I see how bhateeji handles her khala and believe me i see that happening the new generations of girls ...... that is what is being taught to them. I watched it and I had my response and thinking changed too. I stop watching at i go back to being my humble self again. Not a very good impact.
Good of umama to finally start looking at her life differently. Now it makes sense. Her selfless attitude wasn't paying her much before.
Murad ...... I hate him.
Rihanna Appa ... I feel bad for her. I was there about 4 years ago. Was trying for 12 years but my husband was my anchor. THANK GOD. I would have loved to have a daughter at the time ...... .I do have a daughter now :) and I am happy. I don't think son or daughter makes a difference. We three are a happy family. For all those couple out there who are still going through it I am sure they would love to have even a daughter ..... living breathing infant in thier arms. Concept of choosing between God's creation wouldn't occue to them but there are loser like murad out here. I have seen plenty.
