English Translation:

These are also our kids….

Kids…! Wandering around barefooted in streets in hot summer,
With ragged clothes having no shades over head.
Looking for food for hungry mothers at home in the pile of garbage
Cleaning cars with their worn tattered clothes
Desperate to sell something for living
In shreds like crazy, they run after one Rupee, Without the awareness of their own beauty

Their hearts also beat with desires
They also have right on this free land
To earn their livelihood,
So they don’t have to leave homes

Having own free home land, they bear the hardships of far-off lands
Some loose life to machines of some capitalist
Some got hunted by explosions in Karachi
Some demolish their glorious youth on the sidewalks of Saudia
Some in Bari Imam looking for some food from pilgrims

They spent 58 years crying, where,
Some living lives with music, beauties and lavish food

Hay, influential ….!
There poor rural life is very undemanding and limited
They just desire for a hut and calm sleep.

Re: Da hum zamong bachi de… (Pushto)

Translations do not generally and necessarily interpret essence of the real work — especially if it is poetry. English version tells a very sensitive issue is the focus of the writer, but unfortunately we can't feel it in Pushto. Given that you have posted it, it must be something terrific. Thanx for sharing it with us AsSweetAs :)
