The reasons the germans lost world war II is that Hitler diverted his 2nd and 3rd Panzer Armies from attacking Moscow in August 1941 and sending them to attack Leningrad and Kiev.

By the time the Germans were finished defeating the Soviets in the north and south, winter was drawing near

the Germans wasted 2 months by diverting troops, and thus when they began the attack on Moscow in October 1941, they had to race against time
