slapping the girl was totally out of line whether she actually stole it or not.

but 2 years back when i was on my summer holiday in Pakistan, i went to the same cynosure branch in liberty lahore with my cousin, the shop wasnt very busy, i liked a few outfits and so i was in the fitting room trying them out,
so i spent about 15 mins in the fitting room, but during this time, some lady had come into the store, and was complaining to the guy that worked there that the suits she had bought ( which were in bulk, for some party i dnt knw the exact details apart 4rm that she bought about 20 - 30 suits) that there was something wrong with them, and that she wanted her money back
A screaming match erupted between the 2 ppl,which went on while i was trying on these clothes, and it got progressively worse with the guy in the shop calling this lady all sort of unacceptable names, which were outright innapropriate, Another member of staff who must have been away somewhere appeared and had to restrain the guy as he became increasingly abusive and hostile.
ANyway there was no excuse for him to react to a customer in this way, it was totally unprofessional, so i wonder if its the same guy,
needless to say ive never had a problem in any of the other cynosure stores
