1. When should a son/daughter start earning money to cover their own expenses?

2. should they be forced to help out with household expenses if they’re still living at home before marriage/in a joint family system after marriage (regardless of however high/low the parents income is)?

1. As soon as they complete decent education.
2. Not forced, but a decent education should morally enable them to realise their responsibilities

addendum: 3. They should not be allowed to marry leeches.
