I want to try to eat way less sugar but not sure how to go about it!
Like, how hardcore should I be? Cutting out the obvious sources like soda, candy, and prepackaged food is pretty easy but I’ve seen a lot of people talking about cutting out pretty much all carbs and fruit and I’m not sure if I’m into that. I don’t really know anything about sugar! I would really appreciate some tips and pointers from you cuties!
The people who take less sugar stay away from many diseases as sugar is known as the basis of many major diseases. so you can do the following things to cut out sugar:
1: use vegetables and fruits instead of junk food and soda drinks
2: do not take sugar more than 8 gram a day
3: Avoid Flavoured milk and yogurt
4: Avoid chocolate and other sweet things
If you go on a low carb diet then you cant have a lot of fruit otherwise fruit has lots of nutrients and fibres, anything white is bad for you like refined sugar, white flour, white rice etc. Fruit juice has a lot of sugar also. Whole grains are good for you but again if you are on low carb then you cant eat it. Avoid all processed food and eat whole foods. Also stress and lack of sleep are even worse than a bad diet so stay happy and have good sleep.

**Dates /Khajoors re a perfect food substitute for the refined white poison called sugar!
Your body doesn't care if you get sugar from fruits or cake. It's still sugar.
**Ok Beeb what I meant was if the person is not Diabetic! and is not on insulin already then Natural sugars as found in fruits and even Sugar Cane and Sugar Beets are healthy foods but you do not find them in stores because they have very short shelf life in their natural form! so they are processed into refined Sugar which is bleached and crystallized to increase shelf life! however if you are Diabetic then do what your Doctor tells you!
The refined sugars amoung other processed sugars like High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFC) cause inflammation and scratch your arterial walls and the body repairs them scratches with patches of Cholestrol! thus making your arteries walls hard!**

Ok that makes a little more sense. However the inflammation of arteries comes from spikes in blood sugar. As mentioned before your body just knows sugar, it doesn't care if they are refined or come via dates or mangoes. It even treats carbohydrates the same, these are also turned into glucose.

Right, so the main difference between refined sugar and Dates is that Dates are a food that has sugar along with fiber and all other beneficial substances!
Also you can only eat a few dates and you are full, one does not crave the fruit like we crave sweets!
