sigh i carelessly scratched my face and i guess i scratched too hard cz next thing I knew there’s a scratch right on my cheek. There was no blood leaking out nor does it hurt but Im just worried about it leaving a scar, and thus, ruining my looks :o

Any way to make it heal faster/not leave a scar ???

I heard Aloe gel works well.

argth it's been 3 days :( kuch nahi lagaya uss din se. am i doomed with a scar? :(

its been 3 days and it is still there?

i remember i got a scratch on my face from my cat...and it went off in a few days..I too did not have any blood coming out...

its not red and doesn't hurt, so its fading, but it's still very visible.

If its still healing...put neo on it

neosporin might clog your pores

try pure almond oil on it- i think it should do the trick (contains vit e which is good for skin healing)

Anytime you get a cut anywhere.....apply neosporin on it immediately and keep it there 24/7 until the cut is 100% healed. Don't rub or pick at the area. Other than this, there really isn't anything you can do to guarantee that a scar won't form. That chance is always there when there's a cut.

I'm assuming that cut isn't too big or deep (since no blood came out). IF there ends up being a slight scar afterwards, it'll go away on its own with time. But you can always use AHA products or hydroquinone on the scar to help it fade faster.

rosehip oil! my cat scratches me all the time now, coz he's at that age. if i use rosehip oil on the scab, it leaves a lot less pigmentation and it fades much quicker. and i usually have blood come out.

Yes sure, you have that scratch on ur face because youuuuu carelessly scratched - sure.

I'd put some ointment on it and leave it moist (I really hate the word moist, anyone else?!) and if you use Retin-A, it will eventually fade with use like acne scarring.
