Is it just me or are women worse at customer service than men?
I’ve come across more rude and nasty behavior from other women than I have from men.

I think that is a generalisation. I have come across both rude men and women in my time. I guess it depends on the day/situation. Sometimes we forget, but those who provide a service are human too.

in my experience it has been the women who are extremely rude and do not like to serve you. or maybe i am doing something wrong?

If you feel that you do not get good customer service, you should complain to certain authorities and organisations. As for saying that women are ruder etc, I think it is neither here nor there, unless I am missing the point.
The worst customer service rep i had was a man. A woman came in a close second. In another call I spoke to a woman who had no idea what she was talking about. I've had good and bad customer service experiences with both genders.

I worked in customer service for a long time.
I used to kick a$$ and set ppl straight.
specially the ones who think its there right to be treated nicely jut because they are spending money.
I mean do I give a F?

^ a customer having the right to be treated nicely is not the same thing as a customer having the right to be rude.
frankly whenever i call my cell phone or cable company, i get nasty attitude from the female operators, whereas if a dude picks up, he's usually nice.
At the same time, at my last job, it was the guys (rather a specific group) of them who would be mean.as opposed to the girls. but then they were the "customers."
when i go to stores, the sales guys are nicer to me than the women..
maybe it really is a gender thing?
