Custom ROM's for your Android

Which one are you running and which phone along with version of OS:

Mine is:

★[ROM][APR 7][NB4][AROMA] Hyperdrive KK RLS1 ¯`•._ Hyperdrive Tweaks , PIE, OTA, HUB, File Manager & More!║ Full GS5 UI ║★

I am running 4.4.2 on my Note 3. Also, running XPOSED MOD since my companies VPN passcode generator was not running because I had a rooted phone so I used RootCloak for me to able to run it.

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

I have the VirginROM v2.4.2 on my Galaxy S4, did an upgrade but there was an issue with making T-Mo phonecalls.

Going to upgrade to v3.1.2 in a day or two.

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

WiFi calling issue or just regular cell phone calls?

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

Regular phone calls.

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

Yep. That issue is worth an upgrade.

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

Cyanogendmod 11, nightly from 13th on GS4

Re: Custom ROM’s for your Android

HTC One running stock Sense ROM rooted with some Xposed modules

ROM: Stock Sense ROM 4.4.2

Rooted: Yes

Xposed Modules: Xprivacy (Privacy Manager, kind of a firewall for Privacy settings), Sense Toolbox (Modding Sense Launcher and Sense Apps), Boot Manager (Disable unnecessary apps from start-up), TintedStatusBar (to get KitKat immersive mode for all apps), YoutubeAdaway (Sorry google, cant stand Youtube video ads)

With Root and Xposed, i dont find the need for a custom ROM (use to run nightly builds on my previous phones) and for the top power button problem made a Sense mod to wake up the phone with volume buttons and turn off the screen with a simple swipe down gesture from the launcher.

Re: Custom ROM’s for your Android

Nice. I found out about Xposed after I had installed the ROM when it wouldnt let me run my work’s VPN passcode generator. I agree that you dont need to run custom ROMS after root and installing Xposed.

Re: Custom ROM’s for your Android

I’m on the Wicked Rom on my Note 3, with Android 4.4.2. Totally debloated taking out everything I didn’t want.
One of the reasons I like this one is that the DPI kernel is based of the orginal, but still tweaked to get the best battery life, and it takes away the 2 extra lines of errors from the boot screen. It used to bug me a lot :hehe:
I also have the Wanam framework with Xposed module. I had Xprivacy installed but it was breaking more things than it was benefitting.
The launcher for the moment is Themer with the “Now 2 Dark” theme.

Re: Custom ROM's for your Android

Still running the hyperdrive. I like the fact that you can use a S5 theme and samsung apps on the note 3.....
