Do you remember any outstanding one ?

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

I would like to know why ?

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

and lol at the 'was his' fabulous.

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

I like to customize things and its fun to have your choice of plate.Although its not safe.

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

UZ there are 2 safety issues, names etc can have a little issue, i mean if someone is stalking you type of thing, second is that statistically cars with vanity plates get broken into more often from what I heard.

Mirch as far as why- its personal expression, why do you have a nick versus some random number assigned by GS and a specific avatar versus some generic one assigned by GS, etc.

as far as outstanding plates, here is one

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

I think they’re tacky… having said that, when i ordered my car, and it arrived, the last 3 letters of the plate were the initials of my first name, surname, and hubbys surname… total coincidence :hmmm:

I’ve seen some like:

‘no name’

‘G4NSR’ - meaning gangster i presume… desi rude boy driving a BMW X5

‘S11AG’ this could be two things… either way…:smack:

‘P11MMP’ - Another desi guy, in a Merc…

‘V14GRA’ - on a family car…

‘PAK 1’ - no explanation needed

‘B4D B0Y’ - another Ilford ‘desi rude boy’

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

^^ I get when you see them on range rovers, mercs etc as theyre a class think, like you'll have something along the lines of m4lik or kh4n, but its when they have b4d b0y on a 8 year old vauxhall corsa with tinted windows that annoys me.

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

Mmmmm last time I was in the Uk - the classic one that Id seen in a tanked up dark blue " rudeboy" Mitshubishi was.. wait..."P4KI"- great for race relations in the North of England!!!! methinks!!!!

Here in UAE there are no alphabets or alphabets+numericals mixtures on the licence plates. Only numericals.

So if you buy a licence plate, you are essentially buying a nice number.

ours are like 4 digits, 3 digits and on one car there is 5 digits but the number is really cool. it is something like 6*0*6 .. the asterisk sign has same numbers..

as for why we got them, people give respect to the car if they see a bought good number.. buying licence plate numbers and that also good one's means u got monies.

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

Hmmm.....I like creative license plates. But I've always wondered about people who display their names on their license plates. As **X2 **said, there's a greater safety risk with such license plates. But I wonder if name-bearing license plates could be a sign of possible arrogance......like announcing to the world that YOU are on the road. What do you guys think?

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

JATT5ABI, saw this one in Brampton.

I don’t like name plates which had people names in it but creative ones are cool. The one I liked was “yzyzyz” :cb:

You could start earning people's respect by constructing grammatically correct sentences.

haw haai uncle! ye kaya kiya?

broke the gals heart.

p.s. :hehe:

Re: Custom License Plate/Number plate.

i dont see vanity plates as status symbol, i mean in chicago a vanity plate is like what $50 or so..whoop di doo..big spender :)

its more of self expression or personalization than status ..gone are those days.

yeah there still are some status plates..but thats a whole diff issue and its dumb regardless
