Custom Duty of Kitchen Electronics

Hi all!

Does anyone know if one would have to pay customs duty or other charges when taking Kitchen electronics ie; food processor, blender. No microwave/toaster/oven.

I’m due to fly in a few days from Britain and would really appreciate if anyone had any advise. I’d hate to get caught up in the hassle in Pakistan.

normally that should be ok, microwave does attract duty though. blender and food processor, toaster should be fine and will be allowed in your personal baggage allowance.

You're certain of this? I am planning to bring a new food processor back to PK with me and perhaps a blender or something. Do you think it makes a difference if its packed in the original box or just wrapped up in clothes?

As I'm only coming for a relatives wedding and these items are gifts...
