I am glad you have got few orders. Maybe when they are complete, you should take pictures and post them up for those who first wish to see the designers portfolio even before they decide on contacting them. Even if they are not your designs, people would like to see what they look like when they are completed. No matter what your philosophy is but people love to see the work from the designer(or in your case, I am not sure what to call you since you are not really a designer) before they decide on contacting them. Also, with the above attitude, I am not sure if many people will like to do business with you. Keep a positive attitude, take the criticism of people, and how you can better serve them.

get actual models or even non-hijabi girls and put your clothes on them- thats how professionals do it, no?

Many people have used this forum to advertise their business, Henna Kazim, elementsob etc...and they were never this rude or defensive.

again..u fail to use any common sense...how and why would anybody place an order on facebook to begin with? facebook is just a means to promote business....when someone contacts me....if they are in the same city, they make an appt, and meet with personally to see my personal designs......i don't "take orders off of facebook" that is not possible. and btw, i have gotten 4 orders in the past 3 days off of stuff people have seen on the page....especially my ahmad bilal pieces...so i must be doign something right....if u take off ur biased blinders, and go back to my page...u will see a disclaimer stating that pics on the group page are not claiming to be MY DESIGNS, but rather just current design trends.........
no one said we want to place an order through facebook- read the message you are responding to carefully.
what we're saying is, unless you show us actual pieces, even if they're just laid out on the bed with closeups of the kaam, no one is going to order from you.
if people are unable to go to karachi to shop, what makes you think dallas/fort worth is any easier to get to? the web is pretty much your only option of advertising from wherever you're located, so do a good job of it and show us the things you've actually designed/made yourself. showing 4 pictures of a latin girl in a shalwar kameez, on your facebook 'folio, tells me nothing of your bridal outfit-making/designing capabilities.
