well if you get everything served in a plate then you wont know their importance.
so they want to earn every facility and get addicted to GS :D.

1,000 is too much though! I'm a girl of few words, most of the time. Thing is - 'avatar' is supposed to be a representation of self; it's tricky trying to represent yourself with a given set of generic pictures.
Ah well, naught I can do - I'll stick it out insha'allah.

Because by that time, members get to know what is allowed and what is not allowed on GS. And we don't get weird looking and otherwise embarrassing avatars on people's profiles :)
that's the wisdom behind it. Otherwise we dont want to restrict anything on GS, or deprive anyone from anything. :)

Moreover the member is judged by GS admins in the process of 1000 posts, whether he / she is capable of staying at GS or not...
