Well, in my first (and only) conversation with this guy, I told him a whole lot more than I would ever have told someone I had known for a long time.

No Sarah, Alex was a one-off experience. I was just giving an example of how one can talk about virginity and all that in the first conversation. I was disappointed that our friendship didn't blossom, but it's kewl.
I think the fact that he approached you shows that he's interested! Flaunt yourself (not overtly) and show him what you're made of! I think you guys stand a pretty good chance. Did you give him that present? And on the day of the exam, be sure to make idle chit-chat about exams, studying and all that just to be sure that you're fresh in his mind!
