I too… absolutely hate it when people curse. Throwing out a curse word here and there on occasions is tolerable…but I cant handle it if it’s every other word.
If it’s a guy (which is typically the case) that curse’s in front of me constantly…either I’ll just walk away in the middle of the convo (if its a group convo) or I’ll tell him frankly…" i cant talk to you until you stop cursing"…If I am really outraged then I’ll tell him “have some respect …especially in front of women”
sara…stopping yourself from cursing once it becomes a habit is a very difficult task I think…BUT it can be done. Perhaps everytime a curse word is about to come out of your mouth you can use a word to replace it..i tend to use words like “friggen” …“witch” “stupid”..“dumb”…in our home…these are considered curse words
